Background
Granulocyte/macrophage colony-stimulating factors are cytokines that act in hematopoiesis by controlling the production, differentiation, and function of 2 related white cell populations of the blood, the granulocytes and the monocytes-macrophages. This CSF induces granulocytes. Available under the names Neupogen or Granulokine (Amgen/Roche) and Granocyte (Rhone-Poulenc). Used to treat neutropenia (a disorder characterized by an extremely low number of neutrophils in blood).

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are provided as lyophilized powder which are shipped with blue ice. Bulk packages of recombinant proteins are provided as frozen liquid which are shipped with dry ice.
Storage
Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃ It is recommended that aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
