Function
Calcium-binding protein 39 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CAB39 gene. The protein encoded by this gene associates with STK11 (Serine/Threonine Kinase 11) and STRAD (STE20-Related ADaptor protein). CAB39 enhances formation of STK11/STRAD complexes and stimulates STK11 catalytic activity. CAB39 may function as a scaffolding component of the STK11/STRAD complex and regulates STK11 activity and cellular localization.

Western blot analysis of CAB39 on different lysates with Rabbit anti-CAB39 antibody (ER60546) at 1/5,000 dilution.
Lane 1: MCF7 cell lysate
Lane 2: HepG2 cell lysate
Lane 3: HeLa cell lysate
Lane 4: HCT 116 cell lysate
Lane 5: C2C12 cell lysate

4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.
Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (ER60546) at 1/5,000 dilution was used in 5% BSA at 4℃ overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (HA1001) at 1/50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature. -
