Function

The V5 epitope tag is derived from a small epitope (Pk) present on the P and V proteins of the paramyxovirus of simian virus 5 (SV5). The anti-V5 antibody detects recombinant proteins containing the 14 amino acid GKPIPNPLLGLDST sequence.

Cells were then incubated with Rabbit anti-V5 tag antibody (<a href="/products/HA720227F" style="font-weight: bold;text-decoration: underline;">HA720227F</a>, FITC, green) at 1/1,000 dilution in 1% BSA in PBST overnight at 4 ℃. Nuclear DNA was labelled in blue with DAPI.<br /><br />Histone H3 (<a href="/products/HA601278" style="font-weight: bold;text-decoration: underline;">HA601278</a>, red) was stained at 1/100 dilution overnight at +4℃. Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L (iFluor&trade; 594, <a href="/products/HA1126" style="font-weight: bold;text-decoration: underline;">HA1126</a>) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution.

    Histone H3 (HA601278, red) was stained at 1/100 dilution overnight at +4℃. Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L (iFluor™ 594, HA1126) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution.
