Peflin is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PEF1 gene. PEF1 is a Ca(2+)-binding protein that belongs to the penta-EF hand (PEF) protein family, which includes the calpain small subunit, sorcin, grancalcin, and ALG2. PEF1 has been shown to interact with PDCD6.

Western blot analysis of PEF1 on different lysates with Rabbit anti-PEF1 antibody (HA722358) at 1/1,000 dilution.
Lane 1: Jurkat cell lysate (20 µg/Lane)
Lane 2: HeLa cell lysate (20 µg/Lane)
Lane 3: 293T cell lysate (20 µg/Lane)
Lane 4: HL-60 cell lysate (20 µg/Lane)
Lane 5: Rat pancreas tissue lysate (40 µg/Lane)

Exposure time: Lane 1-4: 20 seconds; Lane 5: 3 minutes; ECL: K1801;
4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.
Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (HA722358) at 1/1,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4℃ overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (HA1001) at 1/50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
