Function
Angiopoietin-like 3, also known as ANGPTL3, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ANGPTL3 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the angiopoietin-like family of secreted factors. It is expressed predominantly in the liver, and has the characteristic structure of angiopoietins, consisting of a signal peptide, N-terminal coiled-coil domain, and the C-terminal fibrinogen (FBN)-like domain. The FBN-like domain in angiopoietin-like 3 protein was shown to bind alpha-5/beta-3 integrins, and this binding induced endothelial cell adhesion and migration. This protein may also play a role in the regulation of angiogenesis.

Wells of the plate were washed, blocked with 150 µl 0.05% tween-20 1% BSA blocking buffer, and incubated with serial diluted Recombinant Human ANGPTL3 protein (<a href="/products/HA211029" style="font-weight: bold;text-decoration: underline;">HA211029</a>) protein starting from 25,000 pg/ml to 0 pg/ml and detect antibody (<a href="/products/HA725080" style="font-weight: bold;text-decoration: underline;">HA725080</a>, Biotin, 0.2 µg/ml) for 1 hour at 30℃ with shaking. Then the plate was washed and incubated with 100 µl per well of SA-HRP for 0.5 hour at 30℃ with shaking. Detection was performed using an Ultra TMB Substrate for 10 minutes at room temperature in the dark. Elisa assay was performed by coating wells of a 96-well plate with 100 µl per well of capture antibody (HA725079) diluted in carbonate/bicarbonate buffer, at a concentration of 5 µg/mL overnight at 4℃.
