Target

Function

This gene encodes a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. The encoded protein is a ligand of the T lymphocyte CD2 protein, and functions in adhesion and activation of T lymphocytes. The protein is localized to the plasma membrane. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. Ligand of the T-lymphocyte CD2 glycoprotein. This interaction is important in mediating thymocyte interactions with thymic epithelial cells, antigen-independent and -dependent interactions of T-lymphocytes with target cells and antigen-presenting cells and the T-lymphocyte rosetting with erythrocytes. In addition, the LFA-3/CD2 interaction may prime response by both the CD2+ and LFA-3+ cells.

    Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (HA750829) at 1/1,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4℃ overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (HA1001) at 1/50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

  • Flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood lymphocytes labeling CD58.<br /><br />Cells were washed twice with cold PBS and resuspend. Then stained with the primary antibody (<a href="/products/HA750829" style="font-weight: bold;text-decoration: underline;">HA750829</a>, 1μg/mL) (red) compared with Rabbit IgG Isotype Control (black). After incubation of the primary antibody at +4℃ for an hour, the cells were stained with a iFluor&trade; 488 conjugate-Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary antibody (<a href="/products/HA1121" style="font-weight: bold;text-decoration: underline;">HA1121</a>) at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at +4℃.
