Function
Acts as a ventralizing factor during embryogenesis. Inhibits axin-mediated JNK activation by binding axin and disrupting axin homodimerization. This in turn antagonizes a Wnt/beta-catenin-independent dorsalization pathway activated by AXIN/JNK-signaling. Predicted to enable phosphatidylinositol binding activity. Acts upstream of or within negative regulation of JUN kinase activity. Predicted to be located in cytoplasm. Predicted to be active in membrane.

This data was developed using HA722480, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation.
Western blot analysis of AIDA on different lysates with Rabbit anti-AIDA antibody (HA722480) at 1/1,000 dilution and competitor's antibody at 1/1,000 dilution.

4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.
Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (HA722480) at 1/1,000 dilution and competitor's antibody at 1/1,000 dilution were used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4℃ overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (HA1001) at 1/50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
