Function
Receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 1 (RIPK1) functions in a variety of cellular pathways related to both cell survival and death. In terms of cell death, RIPK1 plays a role in apoptosis, necroptosis, and PANoptosis. Some of the cell survival pathways RIPK1 participates in include NF-κB, Akt, and JNK. RIPK1 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the RIPK1 gene, which is located on chromosome 6. This protein belongs to the Receptor Interacting Protein (RIP) kinases family, which consists of seven members, RIPK1 being the first member of the family.

Western blot analysis of RIP on different lysates with Rabbit anti-RIP antibody (HA724083) at 1/5,000 dilution.
Lane 1: HT-29 cell lysate
Lane 2: HeLa cell lysate
Lane 3: Raji cell lysate
Lane 4: COS-1 cell lysate
Lane 5: NIH/3T3 cell lysate
Lane 6: MEF cell lysate

4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.
Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (HA724083) at 1/5,000 dilution was used in primary antibody dilution (K1803) at 4℃ overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (HA1001) at 1/50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
