Function
Interleukin 27 (IL-27) is a member of the IL-12 cytokine family. It is a heterodimeric cytokine that is encoded by two distinct genes, Epstein-Barr virus-induced gene 3 (EBI3) and IL-27p28. IL-27 is expressed by antigen presenting cells and interacts with a specific cell-surface receptor complex known as IL-27 receptor (IL-27R). This receptor consists of two proteins, IL-27Rɑ and gp130. IL-27 induces differentiation of the diverse populations of T cells in the immune system and also upregulates IL-10.

Western blot analysis of IL-27A p28 on different lysates with Rabbit anti-IL-27A p28 antibody (HA723695) at 1/5,000 dilution.
Lane 1: RAW264.7 cell lysate
Lane 2: RAW264.7 treated with 100ng/mL LPS for 4 hours add 1μg/mL BFA for 3 hours cell lysate
Lane 3: RAW264.7 cell lysate
Lane 4: RAW264.7 treated with 100nM TPA overnight then treated with 100ng/mL LPS for 4 hours add 1μg/mL BFA for 3 hours cell lysate
Lysates/proteins at 20 µg/Lane.
Predicted band size: 27 kDa
Observed band size: 27 kDa
Exposure time: 3 minutes; ECL: K1801;
4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.
Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (HA723695) at 1/5,000 dilution was used in primary antibody dilution (K1803) at 4℃ overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (HA1001) at 1/50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
